Forum
Grassroots uses its online forum as an extension of its community (and therefore its mission). Conversations can easily range from movies to biblical manhood to where to get a new job to how we will effectively minister to the poor of the city and so on. There are four things we ask you to consider before you sign up:
1. We do allow people who don't belong to Grassroots Community Church to participate in the forums. However, we require a brief e-mail introducing yourself to the administrator of the forum (). This e-mail needs to include your full name, where you live (city & state), and why you are interested in joining our forum. It doesn't have to be lengthy. Something like the following example would be enough:
My name is John Doe. I live in Cincinnati, OH. My sister, Jane, is part of Grassroots and I'd like to get to know more about the church.
2. We do not allow "total" anonymity on our forum. In other words, we don't allow people to use an alias as their posting names (e.g. Bengalsfan1). If your name is John Doe, you must use one of the following variations of your name: JDoe, JohnD, or John Doe.
3. We do not allow personal comments made in the forum to be cut and pasted into other blogs, e-mails, or any other forum. If such a case is brought to our attention it will result in an immediate suspension of your account and possible banning.
4. We do hold people just as accountable for their words, attitudes, and actions online as we would in the "real world." Please conduct yourself here in a godly manner. Repeated ungodly and divisive conduct will result in being banned from the forum and possible further church discipline.
We hope that you will find the forum to be an encouraging and beneficial supplement to your walk with Christ.
